GLOWY GEMZ - REBRAND
Glowy Gemz is a small business, based in Singapore, run by a couple with limited time and resources. They provide unique precious stones and customised jewellery.

THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to modernise the way they are perceived with their target audience as well as wanting to broaden their reach to a younger demographic, putting an emphasis on bespoke jewellery and precious stones with a focus on personalised customer service.
They wanted new branding that was easy for the couple to use and adapt for various applications, across social media channels and e-commerce sites, as well as being able to maintain a consistent look and feel without a designer on staff.
THE SOLUTION
I changed the brand name from Glowy Gemz to simply Glo, to represent the next step in the evolution of their company. The new brand name was accompanied by an all new, simple yet bold logo and colour palette that definitely stood out from the other competitors in the space. The aim was to bring the brand out of the early 2000's and make it more appealing to a broader audience. The logo was designed and developed to be simple yet reminiscent of the industry.
There was a need for the logo to be adapted for use in different branding applications so I added some different design elements to add some versatility whilst still maintaining the look and feel of the main logo. Along with a detailed branding guideline, I built templates for the couple to use, via canva, for their social media channels as well as an image library to help break up their product content.
